Yesterday was a rest day and we avoided a day of walking in the rain. Vigo is the largest city in Galicia and a major sea port. A large cruise ship was in port. We spent a little time walking around the old city in between showers.
The days start a little later in Spain with sunrise around 8am.
As usual we walked up a big hill to get out of the town, and this provided us with views back across the port. We entered a forest walk for most of the day. We then walked down the hill and through Rendondela and onto a small village where we are staying the night at a Casa Rural.
