A hot one today. Humid over night and damp (foggy) this morning. Started the day at eight, no breakfast. Nothing was open this morning. The town seemed to be closed on a Saturday. Other pilgrims were wandering around looking for a coffee also.
Started off in the fog, path was well marked and fairly flat all day, my pace picked up today as a result.

Kept passing and being passed by the same couple of pilgrims, French I think. Saw plenty of pilgrims or day hikers today. I am getting close to the 100km mark, the minimum distance required to be walked to receive a Compostela. I got that covered with plenty spare.
I expect pilgrim traffic to increase dramatically after tomorrow when several Camino’s merge.
At about the half way mark a cafe was open so I was able to get a coffee and croissant.
Walked through forested areas as well as farmland, mostly on country tracks and roads. Mostly shady, except near the end and crossed quite a few streams. No highway walking today.

Not much to see or concentrate on today, plenty of time for introspection. There’s time for thinking on the Camino.
It was 32c in the shade by the time I got to my destination, much hotter in the sun.
No menu del dia anywhere, so I found a bar that served food and sat in the shade.
