It was very quiet and dark in Serdio last night. Even the church bell stopped chiming on the hour. The accommodation had an 11:30pm curfew but we were asleep well before then.
Another enforced rest day. 4km walk to a train station and no trains today😩.
It seems that Renfe (train system) have a service where they send a taxi to some stations that pick up passengers and take them to a collective bus replacement service. We had tapped on at the station with our credit cards and I assume that’s how they knew we were there. We then boarded a bus that followed the train line and let us off at our destination.
However this means we have about 4 hours to wait before we can check in to our accomodation. This time a Casa Rural on the edge of town.
We have our own little villa.
