Hopefully today there would be no rain, and it was clear until just at the end of the day. We had breakfast with a trio of Canadians taking a week to walk a section of the Camino. We must be getting spoilt, we used to be happy with juice, toast and bad coffee.
The early going was very slow and we had to deal with a muddy steep trail again. Very few pilgrims on the trail today, we talked a little with a guy from England who had started in France on the French way then cut across to join the Camino Norte at Irun. He estimates he will walk 1100km by the time he reaches Santiago de Compostela.

We also spoke with a pilgrim from Ireland who was doing a bit of this Camino then a bit of the French way
The walking was varied today over rocky, muddy paths, flat bush tracks, through eucalyptus forests, on a beach. We had to keep our wits about us as the Camino arrows were few and far between and often hidden,

We saw cows, horses, donkeys, goats, we walked through a lot of farmland.

We caught a ferry at the end that pulled up on the beach, lowered a ramp and we boarded from the sand. It started to rain just as we were waiting on the beach to catch the ferry.

We have a room above a bar tonight, so we are sitting in the bar having a relaxing drink.
