Another grey, drizzly day but not too cold.
We continued on slowly. The initial walk out of Castro Urdiales is relatively flat but we started to go uphill as always and into forested areas. After walking past on old bull ring. The path took us back along a coastal walk.

Fortunately the walk took us around most of the mountains on fairly flat tracks and along side some busy roads.

We saw a lot of pilgrims today, early on it was the people that stayed at the same accommodation as us overnight but the then a few more we hadn’t seen before.

Our accommodation tonight is unique, from the outside it almost looks abandoned, the bar was full of boisterous locals (at 3pm) but it closed at 4pm, once inside the rooms are eclectic and full of character. The owner runs a tight ship and evicted us from the lounge area for eating and drinking. So we just moved to our room. The bar does not serve any food, we went the local supermarket to stock up. This is a tiny little town in the hills, with one bar and b&b, no other services but it has a supermarket.
