The day started out very promising, a Spanish breakfast, clear cloudless sky’s and no aches and pains. The walk out of town was beside a babbling book. But soon started up into the mountains.

One of things not mentioned in any of the guides is the rustic nature of the goat tracks we walk along. A lot of the trails were washed out and overgrown with blackberries.

We stopped at Monastery up in the hills, and went inside for a look.

Other churches were not open.
We knew this was going to be along day, but it took us 11.5hrs to reach our destination at 7:30pm, a little foot sore.
We then had to go for a walk to find something for dinner. Nothing was open so we settled for a bar that served pinxtos.
Tomorrow promises to be a hot day.
