Today is our second last day on the Camino, tomorrow we will push on to Santiago de Compostela. The weather has been favorable the last few days and we hope it stays that way.
Leaving town at sunrise has become a habit, as we can cover a greater distance before the days starts to heat up. One of the earlier town we visited in Portugal had umbrellas lining the sky in the streets, this on had hats.

The sky was clear and the roads were lined with pilgrims, we are seeing the same groups each day now as we have settled into similar rhythms.

A group we had seen for a few days, even staying at the same accommodations from time to time, we dubbed the UK group because of their strong accents, turns out one of them lives in Sth Melbourne, Australia.
There is a Basilica in Padron, where we are staying tonight, dedicated to St James. We made a visit there to get our credentials stamped.
