After a bad nights sleep we set off around 7:30am and it was drizzling and that turned into light rain.

We moved inland and into the hills today, through country lanes and mountain tracks and narrow village streets that we had to share with some very fast cars. In these villages small vans drive around blowing their horns to let the locals know they are coming. These vans sell fresh fish, bread, pastries and fresh fruit. We spent some time dodging the same fresh fish van.
Also the Camino has a more religious focus with churches open to the public. They also provide services and space for pilgrims to rest.

This one we stopped at had benches in the shade to sit on , clean modern toilets, a water font and it was open to visit and receive a stamp in your credential. It was at the highest point of the Camino today, so the rest was needed.
We walked through cool, green mountain forests today. A big change from previous days.

At one stage we had to traverse a pont across a river. The water is cool and clean, it looks very cold.

This church and monastery is on the side of a hill as we came out if the forest. It looks like stations of the cross are up the hill all the way to the chapel at the top.

Tonight we are self catering again in Casa Rural. They have a small orchard and you can eat their fruit. Gratis.
