Today I crossed the border into Portugal, it is a very warm and sunny day. Walking out of Porriño was through an industrial estate for about 1.5hrs. Then into some villages and rolling hills.

I followed the blue arrows and they took me up the hill and into the fort at Valença, Portugal and it turned into a tourist Mecca.

My bed tonight is an Albergue, I was lucky to get a room to myself.
In this Albergue all backpacks are sealed into plastic bags and not allowed in the rooms, neither are boots. They must be left downstairs. They also wash your clothes.
Dinner and breakfast are included, but it is Vegetarian/Vegan. Also Gluten free and Lactose free options are available. Interestingly they also sell alcoholic beverages.
Having walked from France through Spain to Portugal I am stopping. This was my last day. In the morning I will catch a train to Porto and have a rest.
