It was hard to get up and get going this morning knowing we had to leave our wonderful Mansion. But another day another 20-30km.

This particular hill is one of the steepest if not the steepest on the entire Camino. Not overly high at 906metres, the signs say it all.

We left the province of Castilla y Leon today.
And entered the province of Palencia.
Storks nesting on church
We stopped for a break in Hornillos del Camino, and could hear a clacking noise. It turned out to be the Storks nesting on the church.
The walk from Hornillos to Fromista was mainly along side this canal.
