On the way – Planes, Trains and Automobiles (and buses)

We set out from Melbourne today, flights via Hong Kong and then Abu Dhabi and onto Madrid. Then a train from Madrid to Pamplona and THEN a van from Pamplona to St Jean Pied de Port.

Janice and Jayne are on a different flight to Abu Dhabi from Melbourne. We meet in Abu Dhabi.

All up about 36 hrs.

Talk about going the long way.

Dry fields as far as we can see. On the train to Pamplona.

We didn’t quite make it Pamplona on the train. A storm had washed out the tracks last night and stopped about an hour before Pamplona, de-trained and hopped on buses.
