Finisterre to Lires

The rain stopped and the sun came out, so we made a dash for it to Lires, half way up the coast to Muxia. We decided that we could do the 15km in under 3 hours and this should be between storms.

Into the forest we go.

No problems we made it without a drop of rain.

The walk was through eucalyptus and pine covered hills, where the forest went all the way down to the sea.

A couple of very appealing beaches appeared in crescent shaped bays, but with big warning signs about the dangers of swimming. It’s tha Atlantic Ocean, and it’s very cold water. So no swimming.
The path is very rural, through farms and fields, but mainly forests today.

Who calling an ass?
